eggplants stand. I have been
neglecting this section of the garden for about 2 weeks (ok over a month) and I knew bad things were happening over there. I few weeks earlier I had ripped out the other eggplant bushes as they were done producing fruit and no flowers were emerging anymore. But I left one eggplant that had fallen over from the weight of the fruit and was now trailing along the ground. It was massive in size. It had 10-15 fruits on it and was still producing flowers, so it stayed. Next year I am going to grow them in tomato cages so they don’t fall over when they are heavy with fruit. Now when those other bushes got ripped out and this one was laying on the ground, I knew it had bugs. I harvested some fruit and walked away. I do not use pesticides or chemicals in the garden and let mother nature work her magic. I thought it was scale on the plant but without my glasses on I really could not tell.
cycle of life that happens in the garden. That’s it, my bug story for the
day. Now I need to go shower as I feel like I have those things all over me‼‼
